The PC virus contaminated by the disaster

No – it's finally happened.

I think that it was only a matter of time before my kids on your computer is infected with a virus.

It had been getting slower for some time. But then, the Strangest thing happened. All of the browsers for the PC was unable to connect to the internet. The machine was still the connections, because of the online services business. But I had to have 4 different browsers and none of them could not connect to the page.

This computer has been the Norton antivirus or Windows security is enabled. But neither is good enough to stop the virus, regardless of this bugger was doing.

Downloaded and ran several antivirus programs, but nothing will work. Finally, in my lifetime to computers (since 1983) for the first time I had to throw in the towel and bring a PC expert, for, if they would be able to disinfect the PC.

Long story short – they failed. So I had to Wipe clean and reinstall the operating system to Windows Vista.

This is good news. I have a great backup. All data is backed up online, Mozy Online Backup. Therefore, there is no reason for concern about, without losing any of the children's homework, etc.

But the home PC has had for seven hours, and I have been installing Windows updates after the interim invoices. You may have to restart the computer for 15 times already. The guy in the store, told me it would take two days. And that is to be provided before any of the applications. Ugh.

The story: back up the files on the network. Automatically. Use Mozy, but Carbonite is another option. Less than $ 5 a month for mental peace. Do it now, before this happens.

My children are entrusted to the BTW-Please, before you download and install the software on your computer. They are far more detail than most children are likely to be. If it can happen on a computer that is protected by an up-to-date virus protection software – and the bit torrent file sharing or data, it can happen to anyone.
